About the Developer

Lang Development Group (LDG) is a privately-held, full-service, real estate acquisition, development, and property management company with an office in one of its newest residential projects in Newark, Delaware.

Formed in 2002, LDG’s portfolio includes twelve projects under management comprising over 400,000 square feet in the local market area with an additional four projects currently under development.

The principal of Lang Development Group is Jeffrey E. Lang. Lang oversees all aspects of project financing, constructing, leasing, and operations of the portfolio. Prior to establishing LDG, Lang served for 10 years in a similar capacity for the Commonwealth Group, a Wilmington, DE based full service real estate company. During his tenure with the firm, Lang was responsible for the development of 12 projects comprising of over 150 multi-family units and over one million square feet of commercial/retail space.

Lang received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance from Virginia Tech in 1982 and his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware in 1984. He is a Certified Property Manager by the Institute of Property Management, an international commercial real estate organization, as well as a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Delaware.

Meet the rest of the Lang Development Group team:

Chris Locke, Director of Residential Sales
Chris is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He also received a law degree from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. He is a licensed attorney in the State of Maryland and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with over 20 years experience. He is also a licensed Realtor in the State of Delaware.

Chris started as a legal intern for the Honorable Senator Robert Dole (R-Kan) and served as General Counsel to Sunvest Realty specializing in Far East relations and real estate acquisitions. He became Managing Director of the law firm formerly known as Healy and Locke, a mid-size firm specializing in corporate law, litigation and real estate law. Chris joined Lang Development in early 2006 to oversee the creation and management of the residential development area.

Jackie Gallo, Creative Director

Jackie, a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism, joined Lang Development Group in September 2007. Her work experience includes staff reporter for various daily and weekly publications in both Delaware and Pennsylvania, public relations work for a local real estate company and most recently, Advertising and Marketing manager for a leading realtor in Hockessin, DE. Jackie also holds a Delaware real estate license.

Lori Tomovich, Director of Customer Relations
Lori is the newest member of Lang Development Group. A graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree, she comes to Lang Development with many years of experience in the fields of hospitality sales/management. Lori spent the majority of her career at MBNA America as the director of corporate events.
